Our Mission
We are excited to launch a new project aimed at boosting community participation in sustainable gardening and environmental stewardship. Led by Four Leaf Clover Inc., this initiative will unite local residents in downtown Grand Junction to cultivate a vibrant community garden. The garden will feature vegetables, herbs, fruit trees, and wildflowers, enhancing local green spaces.
Community Engagement
Foster strong community involvement and collaboration through the community garden. Situated adjacent to a large residential neighborhood and within the metro area, this site offers convenient access for residents and supports a reduced carbon footprint.
Sustainability
Engage in environmentally friendly gardening practices to support long-term ecological health. This includes implementing a composting system to recycle organic materials, which will minimize landfill contributions and enhance soil fertility.
Education
Providing community members with the knowledge and skills needed to cultivate their own thriving gardens while incorporating sustainable practices.
Giving Back
Contributing to the well-being of our unhoused community by donating fresh and nutritious food to our local Soup Kitchen (Catholic Outreach). This effort focuses on ensuring that those in need have access to healthy food, while fostering a spirit of compassion and community involvement.
